Privacy Policy

This “Privacy Policy” has been drawn up by EDEN Villaggio Turistico Internazionale di MAZZOLDI SIMONETTA & C. s.n.c., with registered office in San Felice del Benaco 25010 (BS), Via Preone, 45 (hereinafter, “Eden”) pursuant to Article 13 of European Union Regulation No. 679/2016 ("GDPR") on the protection of personal data (hereinafter, “Privacy Code”), in order to describe the methods of management of the website www.camping-eden.it (hereinafter, the “Website”) and the services provided by Eden through the Website (hereinafter, the “Services”) with regard to the processing of personal data of users who browse the Website and/or use the Services (hereinafter, the “Users”).
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Website and not to other websites that may be accessed by the User through links present on the Website.

1. Our Policy

Everyone has the right to the protection of their personal data. Eden respects its Users’ right to be informed regarding the collection and other processing operations of their personal data. In processing data that may, directly or indirectly, identify the User, Eden, in compliance with the Privacy Code, seeks to respect the principle of strict necessity.
For this reason, Eden has configured the Website so that the use of the User's personal data is minimized and to exclude the processing of personal data when the purposes pursued in individual cases can be achieved using anonymous data or by other means that allow the User to be identified only when necessary or upon request by the authorities.

2. Collection of personal data

Newsletter registration
Browsing the Website is free and does not require prior registration.
However, to access certain Services offered to Users, preliminary registration in a dedicated section of the Website is required. Only with the explicit consent of the User can this data also be used for other purposes. Registration is specifically necessary to receive newsletters from Eden, i.e., periodic communications sent via email to the email address provided by the User, informing Users about exclusive initiatives by Eden and the activities of EDEN Villaggio Turistico Internazionale (hereinafter, “Newsletter”).

Data voluntarily provided by the User
The voluntary, explicit, and optional sending of emails to the addresses indicated on the Website implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is necessary to respond to the requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Likewise, the submission of personal data by the User in the section of the Website called “Contacts” entails the subsequent acquisition by Eden of the data voluntarily entered by the User in the appropriate fields. These will be processed to respond to messages and/or requests sent by the User and to send quotes, commercial, promotional, and/or advertising material via email to the contact details provided by the User.
To book a stay at EDEN Villaggio Turistico Internazionale, Eden offers Users two options on the Website: Users interested in spending a vacation at EDEN Villaggio Turistico Internazionale can send a quote request via the section called “Contacts.” By filling in the form and submitting the quote request, Eden will reply directly to the User at the email address provided, sending a personalized quote according to the User’s preferences.
If the User wishes instead to proceed with an online booking without first requesting a personalized quote, Eden provides the option to book via the online platform “Secureholiday.net”, a multichannel system that distributes the commercial offer of tourist accommodations through its website, managed by the company Ctoutvert Sarl. The User can access this online booking platform by clicking on the links labeled “Booking online” on the homepage and “Book online.”
Once on the platform via the provided links, the User can finalize the reservation by entering all the required information. It is specified that, from the moment the User leaves the Website to access the booking platform, the personal data entered in the registration form and the data required for the stay payment will be processed directly and independently by the company that manages the platform as an independent Data Controller, i.e., the French company Ctoutvert Sarl, based at 10, Place Alfonse Jourdain, F – 31000 Toulouse. For more information on personal data processing, Users are invited to consult the privacy policy of Ctoutvert Sarl at the following link: http://www.ctoutvert.com/it/note-legali/.

Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used for the functioning of this site acquire, during normal operation, some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or MAC addresses of the computers used by users who connect to the Website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and IT environment.
These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the Website and to ensure its correct functioning.

Cookies
Cookies are files or pieces of information stored on the user's computer hard drive (files sent from the website server to the user's browser) while browsing websites, and they are stored to be sent back to the same sites on future visits. Cookies are used for various purposes, have different characteristics, and may be used either by the owner of the visited site or by third parties.
Cookies stored on the User's computer cannot be used to retrieve any data from their hard drive, transmit computer viruses, or identify and use their email address.

The information stored by these cookies is aggregated, anonymous, and not used to collect personal data for advertising purposes.

Session Cookies
The session cookies used are intended to speed up internet traffic analysis and facilitate User access to the services offered by the Website.
No personal data of Users is acquired by the Website. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are any persistent cookies or user-tracking systems used. The use of session cookies is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary for safe and efficient Website navigation.
The session cookies used on this Website avoid using other potentially harmful IT techniques for user privacy and do not allow the acquisition of personally identifiable User data.

First-party and Third-party Cookies
The above-mentioned categories of cookies are used directly by Eden; they are therefore “first-party cookies” originating from the Website.
However, through this Website, cookies managed by third parties are also installed on the User's computer, including both technical and profiling cookies.
The “third-party technical cookies” issued by the Website include:

Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Nevertheless, it would be technically possible for Google to identify individual users based on the data processed. Functionality Cookies
So-called Functionality Cookies are used to improve the usability of the Website. These include:

Google Maps: Google Inc. places several cookies on web pages containing a map from the Google Maps service (Google Maps stores up to four cookies: khcookie, NID, SNID, and PREF). These are used to gather information and remember the number, behavior, and preferences of users who visit pages containing Google Maps. Some of these cookies are semi-persistent, expiring 2–10 years after the last visit to a page containing a map. They can be disabled by the User via browser preferences. Google Maps tools are used based on Google’s compliance with its privacy policy and terms of service. The use of cookies on the Website will take place only if the data subject has given their consent specifically for this purpose. Consent may be given generally—by interacting with the brief informational banner on the homepage (e.g., by closing the banner, clicking the “ok” button, closing the banner and scrolling the homepage, or clicking any element—which constitutes scrolling); or it may be given selectively as described below. Records of this consent are maintained for subsequent visits. However, the User can revoke their consent, in whole or in part, at any time.
Note that consent requested via the aforementioned banner applies only to the use of “third‑party” cookies, and not to first‑party technical cookies, which—once again—are installed automatically when accessing the Website. To disable first‑party technical cookies, the User must change their browser preferences as indicated below.
If the data subject refuses to accept cookies, no cookies will be used, but the ability to provide services may be reduced. In that case, some Website functions may not work properly, and certain services may not be available. Therefore, each User has the option to disable cookies through the software used to browse the Internet (the so‑called “browser”). Many browsers are set to accept cookies automatically unless the User chooses otherwise. For this reason, Eden invites Users to review their browser’s cookie settings and adjust them according to their preferences.
